FAILURE
AS FUEL

We know a thing or two about failure. The 1st two events we ever tried planning were a complete disaster. We don’t even want to get into the details. It was bad, trust us.

But there was something about planning those first events that got us hooked. Despite the failure, there is something truly intoxicating about trying to plan that perfect event; the climax of seeing so many moving parts coming together at just the right time -- and knowing that every little detail can either bring absolute horror or utter joy.

So naturally, we didn’t give up.

3RD TIME’S
A CHARM

The 3rd event started with a bit of jitters, but also with a weird sense of calm that things would be ok. We’d learned a thing or two.

We made sure to cross all our T’s and dot all our I’s. We weren’t afraid to ask questions, and we constantly made sure everyone was on the same page. The event was amazing.
We experienced a new form of joy. The joy of not giving up, not to mention seeing 200 people have the time of their life.

PURPLE
IS BORN

We did many more memorable events after that. And then one day we had a magical moment.

We wanted to take all that knowledge we had gathered over the years and turn it into something else. Something that anyone could use.We gathered a team of researchers, planners, designers, writers, programmers and free thinkers, as well as hundreds of top vendors across every imaginable category…

It took a bit of time, but Purple was finally born.

Our 3 C’s

Creativity. Celebration. Caring.

As a company, we are constantly guided by our 3 C’s. They guide our every decision, from how we build our product to how we communicate our brand, to how we treat our employees and engage our customers and vendors.

Creativity

Creativity is a force for good (Once you tap into your own creativity, you never know where it will take you)

Celebration

Life is too short not to celebrate every meaningful moment. A celebration is not only an event; it’s how we believe a life should be lived. It’s about taking a deep breath and being grateful for what we have.

Caring

You don’t create events if you don’t care about your guests. As an extension, we’ve learned to care about the people who make it happen; the communities we support and the planet we all inhabit.
